jetta SG Him ah, he doesn't know himself. But he's a lucky guy. With him being a vet with a top secret clearance in a sought-after field post-Navy, he has much to choose from. However he keeps second guessing himself and his abilities so I have to keep him propped up and moving in the right direction. He's attended the first of many job fairs to come which explains why he needs to do up his resume proper. Why? You got job for him? *all ears*
Rhonda SG I never had crabs in Singapore save for that one miserable baked stuffed crabshell I had mins before I entered the departure lounge! Maybe that's why in my sweet dreams yesternight, I dreamt I was back working in a corporate job and my boss, another colleague, and I travelled back to Singapore in Nov for a visit cause I very buay gum guan that I fell so ill this trip. Siiiigh... such a sweet dream! Too bad that guy doesn't exist.
Rhonda SG Eh?! If I'm Richard Branson's daughter, I might have some posh job for him but I think if I were Richard Branson's daughter, you might not want your husband to be near me!
stellazio SG maybe he does. cuz when u dream of people, its usually ppl whom you've met ebfore. could be one of those guys u were secretly oggling at in the mrt or sth.
Rhonda SG Har?!!! You live in an HDB flat. If it's not getting into the house, then where, may I ask, do you intend to keep it? In the corridor? Or poor thing, by the lift lobby? I think a virtual pet is easier work.
jetta SG Dogs *sigh* I have two, both Maltese. While it's nice that they don't shed, I don't enjoy spending on grooming. Here you have to tip so the grooming bill can come to $60, depending on the base price. Since I'm still new to this neighbourhood, I'm still shopping around for a reasonably priced groomer. The little dogs tend to be yappy. Kimo (younger of the two) tends to bark at anything and everything. Sometimes I just want to yank out his vocal cords. Such a high pitched bark, hurts the ears! Good thing I have nice neighbour who are not home most of the day and when they are, are very tolerant. I tend to shush the dogs anyway. I don't have grass in my small patio and my two are used to going on the grass so several times a day we each have to take them outside to poop and pee. Gets tiring man.
elindra SG If I get the Keeshond it means I live on landed property Which I'm not currently So that means that is out of the question The thing is I don't really fancy the toy breed of dogs that much leh I rather get a Ragdoll
Rhonda SG Just read an article on Prince William this morning and Branson's daughter was pictured in that article because she was one of the girls William was associated with. She was wearing this purple top that plunged down forever and her boobies were like bursting out of her top... well, almost! One of my PRC colleagues said when she first came to Australia, she was a bit stunned by how the ladies here liked to wear those V-necked tops that plunged forever and exposed so much boobs! Actually it's true... if you were a guy and sitting down on a bar stool and the lady was beside you standing up, be careful not to get too close or else you might turn towards her and find your nose ta-daaaaah... right in her cleavage! OK, I know stuff like that stella and av will not complain about!
jetta SG Alamak, when I first got here, I had the same impression of American women too. Why do they like to have their papayas hanging out?
Rhonda SG I'm going to have to own a decent-sized double-storey townhouse with a backyard before I contemplate getting my cats. I might get a Husky at some point in my life, cause I think I will have a deep spiritual connection with a Husky. No yappy toy dogs for me... I'll want to smack them quiet! I love my peace.
jetta SG Reminder hor. The bigger the dog, the bigger the poop. And longer walks. As it is, I get tired of walking them daily, even if it's for just 15 mins.
Rhonda SG True mah!! Women who are rich, spoilt and flirtatious who think nothing of stealing someone else's boyfriend / fiance / husband just to prove that they are sexy enough to makan ANY man... that's very common these days, no? In fact, I was talking to mom one day about the (mis)behaviour of some women and she piped in, "Actually, you think SIngapore girls are good meh? These days, the way some of them act, like devils too!" Actually, sad, but true. Morals is fast becoming an outdated word that's commonly mis-spelt and too often has the meaning amended to suit the current lifestyles.
Rhonda SG *nods so vigorously, head almost drops off! Plus, think of this, toilet train the darling only ONCE and he/she will remember forever where to go to pee and poo!
stellazio SG actually not only the rich and spoilt. but just sexy or pretty and flirtacious. but guys also to blame, how come so easy dong xin.
elindra SG I like spitz coz they tend to exercise themselves At least mine does in the past He chased his ball all over the house by himself He fights with his ball by himself He tries to chase the mail man He jumps and tries to reach the cane we hang up My dad actually tried to fatten him up to no avail coz he is so damn active
Rhonda SG Reminds me... yesterday, in search of some illusive Optus shop (to convert my prepaid mobile to a contract plan), I ended up walking 45 mins, all the way home! I kid you not! 45 mins and I got so hungry and kinda tired in the middle of the journey cause it was after a hard day at work, I dug into my french fries and ate it as I walked. No manners, but I don't care! I walked 30 mins to Red Roosters, then 45 mins home. Walked a total of blardy 1 hr 15 mins yesterday after work! Forget about Korean classes! Man, I NEED to take driving lessons pronto!
